Hi there, love the hat! its my first cable project and its already coming along great! Just wanted to let you know that the PDF version says to repeat rows 5-9, rather than 6-9, which you have above and sounds right… right? :) Thanks again!

Hi, I have never done any cable kniiting until I found your pattern for this hat and as I had a ball of Lion Brand thick and quick I thought I would give it a try as you said it would be a good beginner project and it was. I finished the hat in one day (slow knitter lol) and is ready to be a gift for a friend who will be going though cheme. Thnk you for a great easy pattern will probably make more.

yes, it looks like row 6 (not row 5) should have two purls at the end… ill change the post above to reflect that. thanks for pointing it out-

ok nice pattern but on row 5 the sts dont add up and i end up with one left over is P*P K2 K4 P2* P really P*P K2 K4 P2* P2?

Hi. Thanks for sharing this pattern. I would like to try it But I’m a little confused about the part that says repeat rows 5-9. That’s an odd number of rows, starting and ending with a right-side row. Shouldn’t there be one more wrong-side row in there?? My email address is lturek at comcast dot net if you have time to reply.
